The Coleus or coliole are tropical plants that are grown as annuals. The remarkable foliage is highly ornamental and will be the focal point for flowerbeds and pots; The leaves are coloured in several shades, ranging from tender green to purple and rust red, passing through golden yellow. Coleus are easy to grow and can be planted in the sun in a light and rich soil. During winter, it can be brought indoors and kept until the following spring.
