These annual Mediterranean plants are ideal in hot and dry climates and in poor and well-draining soil, and, essentially, facing south! Anthemis, Gazania, Lantana, Anisodontea. etc sometimes called "camel plants", they resist the heat and are providential where nothing seems to be able to grow. Whatever happens, or almost, they will offer you pretty flowering and a southern appearance perfectly in line with dry gardens, predominantly rocky but also in Mediterranean-style gardens or pots.
