Our range of soft fruit  as bare roots, for economical autumn-winter planting and quick establishment in the garden. Strawberries such as the famous 'Gariguette' and 'Mara des Bois' perfectly illustrate this form: young plants grown in open ground, delivered in dormancy, whose roots quickly settle in your soil. Bare root plants are ecological and economical: lighter for transport, they limit plastic use, prevent root circling and promote rooting.
Our selection notably includes repeat-flowering raspberries 'Autumn Bliss' and 'Fall Gold'redcurrant bushes, the blackcurrant bushes, and also the Jam collection - 3 berries.

Soft fruit: tips for beautiful fruits

Recommended exposure: sun to partial shade depending on the climate; neutral to slightly acidic pH for strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants, more tolerant for currants.

Planting window: November to March, frost-free.
Points to watch: protect fruits from birds, look out for botrytis and powdery mildew during humid periods, maintain mulch to limit drought, renew strawberry plants every 3-4 years.
Practical advice: when planting, trim and dip the roots, place at the same depth (collar at soil level for strawberries), water generously, then mulch; prune according to species in late winter to stimulate fruiting.
