Our range of creeping or carpeting Sedums. These succulent plants such as the White Stonecrop Sedum album 'Coral Carpet' are perfect for quickly covering the ground with dense and colourful vegetation carpets. Discover also the Sedum oreganum from Oregon with its yellow flowers, whose miniature evergreen foliage carpets even the poorest and driest soil, transitioning from green to red. Or the Kamchatka Stonecrop 'Variegatum' with its variegated leaves framing its attractive golden-yellow blooms. The Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood' is particularly appreciated for its dark red leaves and intense pink flowers, while the Sedum acre 'Yellow Queen', also known as 'Biting Stonecrop', stands out for the brightness of its yellowish-green foliage and its small, vibrant yellow flowers. We also offer a Collection of 3 Carpeting Sedums to green up rockeries and dry ground without breaking the bank, and many more varieties to discover in these pages.
Creeping or carpeting Sedums are particularly valued ground cover plants for their drought resistance and low maintenance needs. They prefer sunny locations and well-drained, even poor or sandy soil. They are perfect for rock gardens, dry stone walls, and roof terraces. These small plants form dense, low carpets ideal for stabilising the soil and preventing erosion.
To plant these Sedums, choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Water moderately after planting, then let them establish themselves. Light watering during prolonged drought is enough to keep them healthy. Sedums are rarely affected by diseases and pests, making them ideal plants for both beginner and experienced gardeners.
