Our range of topiary shrubs comprises pruned plants, trained or shaped into balls, cones, twists, spirals, standards or braided forms. They bring structure to the garden, accentuate an entrance, punctuate a path or adorn a terrace. The boxwood ball (Buxus sempervirens) is a great classic. Other shrubs are also suitable, with varied shapes and textures. Ilex crenata ‘Dark Green’, with its small evergreen leaves, can be used as an alternative to boxwood, while Taxus baccata, or yew, shaped into a ball, has been prized for centuries by generations of landscape designers. Also discover more original specimens, such as braided willows in a column or domed shape, which provide living willow and plant sculpture.
Plant your topiaries in the garden or in a container, monitor watering of pot-grown subjects and prune regularly to maintain a neat and balanced shape.
