Juniperus or Junipers are evergreen conifers from the Cupressaceae family, cousins of Cypresses and Chamaecyparis. They are mostly native to the Northern Hemisphere and are slow to grow. They are hardy trees or bushes of particular interest as they are adaptable to difficult conditions, poor soil, and can withstand (almost) any western climate. Most of them are tolerant to limestone, resistant to heat and summer drought. Their sizes range from creeping plants to trees and their colours vary from silver grey to blue, dark green, and golden yellow.

You'll adore them!
