Sea Thrift, also known as Armeria maritima, are hardy, compact perennials that bloom from May to July. They have pink, red, or white pompom flowers and linear foliage similar to grass. They are a great alternative to lawns in dry and sandy areas. To create a uniform carpet, plant them closely (10 feet/m2) in full sun and well-drained light soil. They are easy to maintain and should be planted between September and April without watering, except in pots. Dividing the shrubs in spring. You can also use them in rock gardens, borders, or pots. They are also known as Sea Pinks.

You'll adore them!
