Our range of young apple trees. Young fruit trees of one year, perfect for shaping according to your desires (espalier, palmette...). We offer a wide range, including the varieties 'Golden Delicious', 'Granny Smith', 'Reine des Reinettes', or even 'Chanteclerc' sold as young plants. A young apple tree is a newly grafted young apple tree, usually one year old. It is a fruit tree in its very first growth phase after being grafted, but before developing lateral branches or a thicker trunk. Basically, it looks like a straight stem, a bit like a wand, hence its name "young plant".
The young plant is the ideal form for planting an apple tree if one wants it to adapt well to its new environment and to have more freedom to shape its growth (through pruning or training, for example). The advantage of planting a young apple tree is that it takes root more easily and is often less expensive to purchase compared to a more developed tree.
