Pansies and Violas are biennial herbaceous plants that bear flowers of variable size in a wide range of colours. Whether you select the "Giant of Switzerland" (Viola x wittrockiana) or the "Horned Violet" (Viola cornuta), both stand out for their colours, their delightfully retro charm, and their expressiveness. Their blooms consist of five often maculated petals that form a little face. Their prolonged flowering period makes Pansies and Violas ideal for pots, containers, but also seasonal flowerbeds.

In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
