The Parsnip – Pastinaca sativa – is an ancient vegetable, closely related to the carrot, forming a large, fleshy, white, and slightly sweet root. A hardy and resilient vegetable, Parsnip belongs to the family of umbellifers (Apiaceae), and it is essential in organic gardening. 'Guernsey Half-Long' and 'Tender and True' are two renowned varieties that we offer in organic form: certified for Organic Agriculture (AB), these seeds are obtained without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Ideally, you should cultivate them in a mild and humid climate and in rich and loose soil to obtain straight roots.
