Asarinas are perennial but frost-sensitive plants used as climbing plants and grown as annuals. Asarinas are used to populate hanging baskets or climb along a support. The flowers, shaped like trumpets, bloom from July to September. Flowering can continue if the plant is brought back into a cold greenhouse protected from frost. Cultivate asarinas in a fresh and well-drained soil in the sun.
