Our collection of Gynura, plants with velvety leaves. Original and charming Gynura plants are nicknamed "purple passion plant" because of their soft-touch leaves with silky highlights. The most well-known is Gynura aurantiaca, prized for its purple-tinged foliage, ideal for adding a bohemian or baroque touch to your decor. Also discover Gynura sarmentosa, very attractive in hanging baskets with its trailing habit, or Gynura procumbens, known for its medicinal properties. Each variety offers a unique aesthetic, but they all share that spectacular touch.

Gynura belong to the Asteraceae family and are native to tropical Asia. These plants are characterised by their hairy leaves, usually dark green with purple highlights. They have a compact or trailing habit.

Gynura plants thrive in bright light without direct sunlight with moderate watering once the substrate has slightly dried, and a temperature between 18 and 25 °C. Use well-draining soil, and don't forget to pinch the tips of the stems to encourage branching. Their simple care makes them perfect even for beginners!
