Our selection of pink or mauve poppies mainly comprises Oriental poppies, with a few annual poppies in pastel shades. These poppies are perfect for sunny borders, cottage gardens, country-style gardens and perennial borders. Their crumpled flowers, in soft pink, salmon pink, lavender or mauve, look fragile, but many are hardy and undemanding plants.

Papaver orientale ‘Princess Victoria Louise’ is a hardy perennial that bears very large salmon pink flowers, marked with dark spots at the base of the petals. Sow corn poppy or Papaver rhoeas ‘Angels Choir Mixed’ for its charming double flowers in a mix of white, pink, salmon and mauve. Also discover Papaver somniferum ‘Purple Peony’, with very double flowers in lilac and old pink, Eschscholzia californica ‘Thai Silk Rose Chiffon’, bright pink with a creamy centre, or the variety ‘Appleblossom’, in pink, peach and cream.
