The Cleomes are tall annual plants that are interesting for their unique flowering and easy cultivation. The leaves are 10cm (4in) long and palmate. They are composed of 6 leaflets covered in hairs. The fragrant flowers are white or pink to purple and are grouped together in an erect cluster. Plant cleomes in the sun in rich and well-drained soil.
