A selection of Dwarf Columbines, varieties of Aquilegia that are very low, such as flabellata 'Ministar' or 'Winky Double' with pompon flowers in various colours, both compact and floriferous, ideal for bordering, rockeries and containers. These are perennial plants that do not exceed 40 cm (16in) in height when in flower, and their flowering lasts for several weeks between spring and summer. These columbines offer a wide range of colours, from white to violet, including blue, pink or even red tones. Discover also the varieties from the 'Clementine' series, such as 'Clementine Red', whose double flowers are reminiscent of certain clematis. Generous, hardy and easy to grow in moist soil, the dwarf columbine sometimes self-seeds spontaneously in the garden. Occasionally, it produces natural hybrids with unique shapes or colours.
