These Asters or autumn daisies are perennial and hardy plants. The flowers, shaped like small daisies, bloom from late summer to autumn and form remarkable carpets of colour. Shades range from red to pink to lilac to white, with a yellow centre. Plant the Asters in any well-drained soil in the sun to accompany Stipa, young Miscanthus and Pennisetums, or plant them on top of walls, associated with Companion Dianthus.
