Dwarf Pittosporum

Our range of Dwarf Pittosporums. These compact and evergreen shrubs, like Pittosporum tobira 'Nanum', are perfect for creating elegant borders, low hedges, and large containers. Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Tom Thumb' is a variety known for its dark purple foliage, while 'Golf Ball' is appreciated for its dense and spherical growth of less than 1m in height. Its variegated form 'Silver Ball' is adorned with small, shiny, evergreen leaves, with white-edged grey-green margins. These bushes are perfect for small gardens, rockeries, or terrace decoration. They provide a touch of greenery all year round, and their small, fragrant flowers in spring attract pollinators.

Dwarf Pittosporums can be planted in full sun or partial shade in well-draining soil. They tolerate moderate drought once established, as well as salt spray. Choose a location sheltered from cold winds, as these shrubs are frost-sensitive.
