Our range of frangipani trees (Plumeria). Frangipani trees are appreciated for their exotic flowers and delicate fragrance. Plumeria rubra is one of the most popular varieties, with its star-shaped flowers in shades ranging from white to bright pink. Plumeria obtusa, on the other hand, stands out with its white flowers and yellow centre, with a powerful fragrance, which bloom all year round on beautiful shiny and evergreen foliage. The frangipani tree is not hardy in our climate and therefore must be grown in a container to be protected as soon as temperatures drop. It will then form a clump up to 2.50m or 3m high, which needs a suitable, bright location to overwinter.
The Frangipani tree is a tropical tree that will not survive our winters outdoors. It must therefore be planted in a container to be overwintered in a bright room where the temperature should never drop below +5°C and ideally be above +10°C (heated conservatory, large bright room...).
