Koelreuteria paniculata, is native to China and Korea. It is also known as the Pride of India, and is also called Golden Rain Tree, as its vegetation seems to disappear under a mass of bright yellow flowers during hot summers. It is a charming small tree, highly ornamental due to its rounded habit, lantern-shaped fruits, and fabulous autumn colours. In addition to all these qualities, it is very easy to grow in almost all soils and under all climates. As it widens with age, this Golden Rain Tree will be perfect as a specimen in a medium-sized garden or in an avenue in a park.
