Californian Poppy seeds

Equally at home in cottage gardens as well as in sophisticated flower beds, this opportunistic plant thrives in poor and dry soils. Moderately hardy, the California poppy self-seeds spontaneously and generously in light soils. You can sow it in perennial beds, natural areas of the garden, or even in pots. These are perfect plants for low-maintenance gardens or weekend gardens. Their warm or tender colours blend beautifully with white, light blues (Baptisia, Linum perenne, Myosotis, Catananche caerulea), and mauves (Bowles Mauve wallflower, Buenos Aires verbena).
