A selection of bleeding heart or Dicentra with colourful foliage, perennials that add a touch of originality to the garden with their heart-shaped flowers and unique foliage. The Dicentra 'Burning Hearts' is appreciated for its deep red flowers and blue-silver foliage. The Dicentra 'Gold Heart' features golden foliage that elegantly contrasts with its pale pink flowers, making it an excellent choice for illuminating the shaded areas it loves. Dicentra plants require well-drained soil, enriched with organic matter, and prefer a rather moist environment. They prefer partial shade, as intense sunlight can burn their foliage, especially that of the coloured varieties. These perennials do not tolerate excessive watering or prolonged drought.
