Our range of soapwort seeds will add a natural touch to your garden. Soapwort, especially Saponaria ocymoides or the Montpellier soapwort, is a creeping perennial distinguished by its generous flowering of small pink or white flowers, appearing throughout the summer. This variety is appreciated for its ease of cultivation and its ability to form beautiful colourful carpets on slopes and walls. The seeds of Saponaria officinalis, the wild soapwort, are also popular. This plant produces pale pink or white flowers with a subtle fragrance, ideal for natural gardens in moist soil. For a more colourful garden, Saponaria 'Rubra Compacta' is another variety sometimes sold as seeds. It is characterised by its bright pink flowers and compact habit, perfect for rockeries or containers.

Soapworts can be sown in spring or autumn to enjoy their flowering in their first summer. They require little maintenance, often self-seeding spontaneously from one year to the next.
