All our Rose Campions. Lychnis coronaria forms a clump of silvery-grey, downy foliage, topped with slender flower stems bearing numerous single flowers. The typical form, with magenta-pink flowers, is the most widespread and the most hardy. 'Atrosanguinea’ stands out with its more intense red flowering. ‘Alba’ offers white flowers that harmonise with its foliage. ‘Angel’s Blush (Oculata)’, pastel and delicate, displays a pink eye on a white background. The ‘Gardener’s World’ variety completes the range with double magenta flowers.

Rose Campions thrive in full sun and in light, well-drained, even poor or chalky soil. Very drought resistant, but more biennial than perennial, they self-seed easily from year to year. Water lightly when planting, then let them flourish without any special maintenance.
