Our red Bleeding Hearts or red-flowered Dicentra. The heart-shaped flowers of Dicentra spectabilis 'Valentine' are not pink, but indeed red with a white tip. While those of D. 'Burning Hearts' are a stunning blood red bordered with white, which beautifully contrasts with the soft bluish-grey of its finely cut foliage. Discover also unusual red varieties such as Dicentra (Lamprocapnos) formosa 'Bacchanal' with its almost purple flowers or the D. spectabilis 'Ruby Gold' which combines golden-orange foliage with bright vermilion red flowers.

These plants are beautiful perennials that add colour to cool and slightly shaded areas of the garden. Bleeding Hearts also make a stunning display in pots on a shaded terrace. Discover all our red-flowered varieties.
