Coreopsis are bushy perennials with yellow gold/brown flowers that are essential in all flower beds and borders. Surprising with their abundant flowering from June to September, they thrive in well-drained and sunny soil with regular watering. Dividing the clumps every 3 years in spring will rejuvenate the young plant, as well as a severe pruning before winter. Easy to grow, they self-seed spontaneously year after year. Originally from North America, these herbaceous plants are mostly perennials but also exist as annuals such as Coreopsis tinctoria.
