The grafting knife is used to perform budding grafts, one of the most commonly used grafting techniques. It is mainly practiced on stone fruit trees and bushes as well as on roses because their pith is often fragile and does not tolerate cleft grafting well. Our grafting knives have an extremely sharp, pointed, and relatively short steel blade to remain manageable.
