The Fig tree or Ficus carica is a hardy but deciduous fruit tree that produces figs in summer. The leaves can measure up to 25 centimetres (10 inches) and are deeply lobed, giving them an exotic appearance. The Fig tree Madeleine des deux saisons is a self-fertile and twice-fruiting variety that allows for one harvest in June and July, and then another from August to October in warmer regions. Fig trees should be planted in full sun, sheltered from strong winds, especially in colder regions. They prefer loose and deep soil and can adapt to rocky soil.

You'll adore them!
