Description

Anisodontea 'Lady In Pink' is a bush plant, with almost uninterrupted flowering from spring to autumn.

Anisodontea is native to South Africa, the compact habit can reach 1m (3ft). It is a highly branched evergreen bush. The flowers are pink with a red centre, measuring 3 to 5 cm (1 to 2in) in diameter, their shapes resemble those of mallow or lavatera. They bloom from spring to autumn.

This plant thrives in well-drained soil and in sunny or semi-shaded locations. It is hardy down to -7°C (19.4°F), so we recommend protecting it from the cold or treating it as an annual. Anisodontea can be used both in pots and in flower beds.

Our advice: Plant Anisodontea 'Lady In Pink' with lilies or clematis in similar tones.

Note: Please be aware that our plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, repot and store them in a sheltered place (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before planting them outdoors once the risk of frost has definitively passed.
