Giant Digitalis

Our giant Foxgloves including their hybrids, the Digiplexis. Like the Digitalis purpurea 'Camelot Rose', these varieties produce majestic inflorescences exceeding 1m in height. The Digitalis purpurea 'Alba' expresses timeless elegance with its pure white floral spikes, proudly standing up to 1.20m. Less common, the Digiplexis 'Illumination Flame' develops bicolored inflorescences of fiery red and yellow, reaching up to 1m. Let's also mention the Digitalis mertonensis 'Summer King' which reaches up to 1.40m or the famous Digitalis purpurea of our woodlands which can reach up to 1.50m under optimal conditions. Cultivate these giant Foxgloves in well-drained humus-bearing soil, in a sunny to semi-shaded exposure, and admire their spectacular flowering from May to July.
