The Cabbage - Brassica oleracea - from the Brassicaceae family refers to very diverse varieties.  There is nothing formally in common with varieties such as Cabbages, Kohlrabi or Cauliflowers, Chinese Cabbages, except for belonging to the same species. Brussels Sprouts aside, they are generally quite large vegetables whose leaves, flowers (Broccoli, Romanesco Broccoli), or stems are consumed. They can be harvested all year round depending on the varieties and are remarkable for their richness in vitamins C, B6, and B9. They also contain good levels of fibre and minerals such as calcium. An excellent slimming food, it has nothing to do with choux pastry!

You'll love them!
