One, the red one (Kaen), is very beautiful and well developed. The other one, the Violet Elisabeth, arrived with some of the soil falling out of the pot, stems only 10 or 12 cm (4 or 5in) tall all black and seemingly dead, and a stem with the first cm still green and the rest black and shredded. Will it recover? I doubt it. I didn't plan on mentioning it, but since you asked for my opinion... we'll see what happens.

Good evening, I have just received the two ordered clematis plants. I am very disappointed with their condition: completely dry stems and no leaves for one, and the other only has three sad leaves.... Your description states that they are 18-month-old plants measuring 50 cm (20in) in height. However, they do not even measure 40 cm (16in). I highly doubt they will recover.... These are indeed rare beauties at an attractive price!

These clematis were planted on either side of a wooden fence, and at the base for Kaen of the Pimprenelle rose and for Violet Elisabeth of the Raubritter rose.

The packaging of the pot was perfect, received on time. However, since I received it at the end of November, even though I planted it right away, I don't know yet if it is doing well (there is no reason why it wouldn't as I have already bought one in the spring and it is superb). To be continued...
