Disappointed, I ordered two young plants, and I planted them in two different areas of the garden, while following the recommendations. Several months later, one seems dead, and the other is growing, but very, very, very slowly. We are far from the "rapid shoot" that was advertised...

Three lovely golden shoots. I made a small trellis for it, along my terrace, and repotted it in a large terracotta pot. 10 days later, the little branches have already clung to the trellis. To be continued!

At the moment, the shoot is very, very slow for both ordered subjects, each placed in different areas of the garden... I eagerly await the moment when they will grow at 'several centimetres per day', as stated in the description... for now, we are far from it!

When I received the young plant, it was packed at the bottom of the package, it had no pot anymore and was mixed with buckets of iris that were not in a better condition than it!... Armed with the faith that moves mountains, I rescued this little piece of dry wood from the bottom of the box and repotted it in a pot with compost and left it in a sheltered and well-lit place. Winter passed, I watered it sparingly, and now beautiful stems have emerged from the pot in the golden color that I had hoped for. The irises, also in poor condition, were planted upon arrival and are all in great shape, I even have buds! I think that's what needs to be explained to people who despair upon receiving their package, gardening is the school of patience...

My hop plant has died.

You give two prices for the same young plant: £6.90 and £12.90. This is disturbing. Can you correct it so that I can know which price is correct? Thank you. In the first year, it develops its roots, and from the second year onwards, it grows vigorously in a rich and moist soil. Its foliage is golden in spring, and during summer, it darkens and closely resembles vine leaves. It's quite delightful to witness its growth of 20 cm (8in) per day during the peak season. Beautiful aments in September. Easily propagated by dividing the stump, although it may lose its golden color in the process. Strange phenomenon.

It shot up by just 30 cm (12in)!

He struggled to grow because I had planted it in too much sun. After moving it, it started to do better. We'll see next year.

I thought it would take 3 years to see the hop flower, and what a joy to have been able to enjoy it this summer! This young plant grows very quickly and sends out a fabulous brightness.
