Margny-Lès-Compiègne" would be translated as "Margny-Lès-Compiègne" in British English, as it is a proper noun and does not require translation.

Hello, I have received the 5 young plants of hollyhocks that I had ordered, but I am moderately satisfied. I was hoping that by ordering plants from a nursery, they would not be as prone to diseases as hollyhocks often are. I hope they will still survive and manage to make it through the winter. Thank you.

SAINT ETIENNE DU BOIS" would be translated to "SAINT ETIENNE OF THE WOOD" in British English.
one of the two young plants did not survive, despite identical care. What a shame.
I am looking forward to seeing the flowering of the survivor.
