I was losing hope of seeing my crambe cordifolia flower, since I planted it 3 years ago, but this year, I see clusters forming. Not surprising, as the young plant takes 2-3 years to establish. I just saw that in the planting tips.

PREFONTAINES
I planted a Crambe a few years ago. After 2 years of ripeness, it produced a beautiful bush of small, absolutely delightful and fragrant flowers. The bees loved it. Unfortunately (and fortunately), a climbing rose took its place. I ordered one this year, but I know I have to be patient.
PS: We don't care about comments like "I received my package." What interests us is the experience of those who have acquired these plants and can inform us about what awaits interested individuals.

I bought this young plant a few years ago. No flowering in the first year, only cabbage leaves. But in the second year, there was an explosion of small flowers like a giant gypsophila: magnificent. However, a liana rose took over its growth. I am ordering it again this year, isolating it this time and not expecting anything in the first year.

Always in its bucket - has survived protected in a polystyrene box and winter cover.

poor plant establishment
On 2 young plants, one perished even though they were planted in similar specific research area.

healthy young plant
I received the well-developed young plant, but there was no expected growth (2m (7ft)) as the heat in June and July affected water-demanding plants. I am waiting for the next season to see the small flowers.

This young plant did not flower despite the exposure instructions.

not leafy enough
As always for this young plant, which is quite delicate to start, I find it a bit scrawny. (This is the 2nd time I've ordered it... it still hasn't sprouted... not dead but it's languishing).
