What a lovely surprise to have chosen, without much conviction, this Metasequoia as a replacement for the never available Concordia oak. It is a surprising tree with its acute green colour, almost yellow, that I planted in April 2022. It has the appearance of a resinous tree and yet it loses its needles entirely in winter and reveals a beautiful bark. I take care to water it well in summer. It attracts all eyes!

Superb young plant with bright yellow leaves that stand out in a green garden... But a fragile plant... Failed to establish during the autumn 2021 planting... Graceful replacement promised with flowers in spring 2022... Excellent start... Then the heatwave... Lost all its leaves during the June heatwave, budded again in July, then dried up in August... The chances of recovery next spring seem very slim (much to my regret). Planted in moist and rather acidic soil. Regular watering.

Hello, the young plant is superb and corresponds to the description, I am disappointed mainly by Royal Mail, the transport was carried out vertically upside down despite it being specified on the box (horizontally), so the habit is damaged but I think it will recover although it is less beautiful. Good value for money.

Everything is perfect, the young plant has exceeded my expectations. Now to plant it and wait for its sprouting and its wonderful foliage.

awful" or "terrible
It looks like a poor dying plant, watered sparingly, all dried up. Compared to the photo, you remove 98% of the foliage and that's what I received. With dead branches for a long time, it's not due to transportation. In the nursery, it should be in the bin.

Beautiful autumn colours. Well recovered despite the heatwave.

Flawless arrival. I will wait a little while before planting... Thermometer obliges.
