Arrived well packaged, planted immediately in a mixed hedge where it thrives, along with its little brother, received the same day: Elaeagnus ebbingei Compacta - Chalef, and planted a bit further away.

After the late April frosts, many leaves had fallen. Now it is doing well and we are starting to see its small, fragrant flowers that smell like carnations.

Hello, I am looking to complete a natural hedge with an eleagnus. It would be surrounded by a common hazel, a dwarf twisted hazel, a dwarf bay laurel, Black Lace elderberry, and a square red photinia. With nearby a Professor Ed aronia, a Yellow Tower elderberry, aromatic sumac, and a 10 to 20-year-old cherry tree. I am hesitating between an Elaeagnus pungens Maculata and an eleagnus multiflora.
