Made from 30 g/m² white non-woven polypropylene, this winter fleece will protect young plants during moderate winters. It is UV-treated and has better resistance for longer. It is also air and water permeable, allowing plants to breathe while avoiding plant dehydration. Different sizes are available.

This winter protection fleece for moderate winter made of non-woven white polypropylene of 30 g/m2 treated with UV protection withstands the sun's assaults better over time and can be reused for several years. With a medium thickness, it is used in case of moderate cold in regions spared from strong frosts. Its air and water permeability allows crops to breathe while avoiding plant dehydration. Different sizes are available. To be installed on a greenhouse or cut according to needs for individual protection of frost-sensitive plants.

This winter protection fleece provides good thermal insulation while allowing light to filter through. It has a texture and flexibility reminiscent of a white honeycomb fabric, but it is a non-biodegradable material that has been treated to resist the sun's UV rays for several months. It acts as a barrier against bad weather and creates a favourable microclimate, maintaining the accumulated heat around the plant during the day. Its permeable texture ensures good air circulation, limiting the accumulation of moisture produced by evergreen foliage that continues to breathe in winter and prevents the onset of diseases related to excessive humidity. Rainwater also partially infiltrates to reach the plants, thus avoiding excessive drying of the growing medium, especially for plants grown in pots. Polypropylene is a material that is largely recycled from other products.

Directions for use This winter fleece for moderate winter provides winter protection for all deciduous and even evergreen plants, grown in pots outdoors or even in the ground. It is also used on forcing and growth tunnels, to protect early sowings, advance flowering and accelerate the ripening of vegetables and fruits. Don't forget to open the cover to let pollinating insects in during the day, then close it in the late afternoon. As part of individual protection for frost-sensitive plants, it is put in place from autumn: simply cut a piece of cover adapted to the size of the plant, wrap it around, then tie the bottom and top of the protection with a cord. Remember to protect the pot if necessary with bubble wrap or multiple layers of winter cover. You can ventilate on fine days, when it is not freezing, then close your protection before temperatures drop. Watering is often necessary in winter, especially for evergreen or mild climate plants: always water in mild weather, preferably in the middle of the day, at the base of the plants.
