A bush with few branches, stunted, which I hope will grow and expand.

Belgium
Hello, I planted this magnificent Daphne Odora Aureomarginata at my home in Belgium. I chose a shady location protected from west winds and planted it on a small slope because this Daphne does not appreciate stagnant moisture at its base. This Daphne thrives in acidic and well-drained soil, so I mixed one-third pure Heather soil and one-third Rhine sand with the garden soil. I created a small mound on which I planted it and watered it with rainwater (non-limestone). I then mulched the soil with bark of pine (20-40 thickness). Every two years, it is necessary to remove the pine bark and add a layer of 5-6 cm (2in) of Heather soil mixed with a little Rhine sand to acidify the soil. During the first two years, in dry weather, the plant should be watered with 10 litres of rainwater once a week. Patrick

Perfect.
Plant in great shape, healthy and with quite a few buds. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Rooted young plant received, the soil scattered in the cardboard. What a pity. Perfect condition for the rest of the order. Thank you, looking forward to spring!
