Organic farming
Roasted horn is a naturally derived nitrogen-rich fertiliser that promotes plant growth, affects foliage colour, and supports flowering. The nitrogen that can be assimilated by the roots is released into the soil gradually and for an extended period without the risk of root burn. It is used during planting, when preparing the soil in autumn, during repotting, or simply by spreading it. This 100% natural and biodegradable product can be used in organic agriculture.

The UAB Masso Garden Crushed and Roasted Horn, which is very rich in nitrogen, releases this nutrient in a progressive and long-lasting manner without the risk of root burn. It is an excellent base fertiliser. It promotes the growth and flowering of plants while maintaining long-term soil fertility. Roasted horn is ideal for meeting the needs of bushes and perennials that remain in place for several years. It is straightforward to use, whether at planting, during soil preparation, when repotting, or simply by spreading it for maintenance. 100% natural and biodegradable, this fertilizer is suitable for organic gardening.

Crushed and roasted horn is derived from slaughterhouse waste: crushed horns, hooves, or claws. Like all organic materials of animal origin, it is inherently rich in nitrogen, containing 14% nitrogen. The horn slowly decomposes under the action of soil microorganisms, providing a spread-out fertilising effect over time, for a year or even longer: the plant takes up nutrients as it needs them. Roasted horn poses no risk of root burn. However, avoid overdosing to prevent excessive leaf and stem production at the expense of flowering and fruiting.

Suitable for all crops, crushed and roasted horn can be used for planting or maintenance from February to October when the conditions of heat and humidity are favourable for plant growth and the action of decomposing microorganisms. One application per year is sufficient.

Recommended application rates: Trees/flowers: 125 g/m² or per plant. Maintenance/Transplanting: 75 g per m².

During soil preparation in spring or autumn, spread before digging.

The product is suitable for organic agriculture by EC Regulation 834/2007.
