So I find its name exaggerated: hardy is not the right word. The young plant from the original one died with the cold (OK, I'm in zone 7a or b, but in the heart of Paris where it's significantly warmer than in the suburbs, especially at night), but luckily I had taken some cuttings and one of them survived and is currently in a pot and doing well. I might make some more cuttings just in case...
