Northern France....cold
After a successful germination at 20°C (68°F), indoors, the young plants produced flowers at the end of September...Due to the shift in seasons caused by climate change next year, I will take them outside in early June when it is warmer, otherwise they will be exposed to cold temperatures in mid-May...These plants thrive in warm weather, sunlight, and a cool soil...They are very vigorous and the large flowers are appealing...

Placed in my kitchen, at 20 degrees (68°F), after 3 weeks... there was germination, I replanted the shoots in larger pots one month later, and a total of 2 months later the necks are tall: 1 m (3ft)... and I have just put them outside... (mid-May) my region is cold, a nighttime temperature of 4°C (39.2°F) has slightly whitened the leaves but the necks have, the tendrils are a little sticky and cling vigorously... I will come back in August to tell you about the flowers - however, there were 11 seeds in the packet... no more.

Beautiful liana
Very pretty liana, the flowers range from whitish green to violet... they hold up well in floral arrangements.. be careful, you always need to sow fresh seeds from the previous year. Buy a new packet every year.

Very good value for money. A large quantity of seed work that all sprouted and produced very beautiful young plants. I had done the sowing for my friend's garden.

too much foliage
The flowering is too late and the plant is too leafy for my taste.

Too much foliage, not enough flowers.
It's a stunning young plant but it is slow to spread and, in my opinion, not generous enough in flowers. One must also appreciate the scent of its blooms... That being said, it is an impressive plant that is just waiting to spread.

Good germination
The seeds have germinated well, a seed equals a young plant! It's amazing to see how they grow and flower during the season.

VAUCLUSE
Hello, I'm making one last attempt. Easy to plant but not easy when it comes to flowering. What does it need? If someone could tell us because I would really love to grow this climbing plant! Thank you.
