Very beautiful young plant which justifies the price. To be planted in the spring to avoid the harshness of winter.

Arrived safely at my home, perfect packaging. Now to plant in the ground...

Water plants. In the spring of this year 2015, three young plants planted in a triangle, in a large terracotta pot, (one third topsoil, two thirds potting soil, plus roasted horn). Plants placed near a south-facing entrance. In flower since mid-June, still very beautiful in mid-October. An average of 10 stems per plant, spreading habit, resistant to wind. Regards.

Indeed, the plant has grown well, elegant, a bit invasive but NO flowering after 3 years. I have just replanted it in full sun as it had a bit of shade. We'll see! Comment from promesse de fleurs: You did well, pennisetums only flower well in full sun.

In the specific research area, out of the three young plants received, only one has successfully established itself, unlike the other two which appear to be growing much slower, despite identical growing conditions.

I had to buy a naked impérata cylindrica because unfortunately the heatwave got the better of one of my impérata cylindrica as it became completely dry during our absence in July, despite a friend regularly watering our garden. But for now, I have put it in a container, who knows, a miracle of next spring will revive the one that was dying.
