Marne" is a type of soil that is rich in clay and limestone.
3 young plants in good shape, with well-established and vigorous roots ready to go.
Already purchased a few years ago, this variety is quite hardy when the soil suits it. It really doesn't like moisture, even in the height of summer, as it can cause collar rot.

Watered since early June, the young plants are all alive and well, but they haven't grown larger. It may be completely normal, as they take a long time to produce leaves, one after the other. At the moment, I'm far from having a small cluster. The winter might benefit them before they burst into growth in the spring...

I am delighted to have received my latest neck so quickly. Always well packaged, the young plants are of good quality. I have just planted them, and at the moment they are doing well. I don't know how long it will take for them to grow, I hope it will be fairly quickly.

They have recently been planted, I have just received them, all the young plants are very beautiful and lively, I hope they will thrive in order to first grow and then give me beautiful blue thistles.
Gisele
Once again, the young plants are very sad, almost wilted.
I don't know if it's the season, but here the thistles are still in flower. I'm afraid the ones I received might already be bristles.

If the soil (well-draining, sandy/siliceous) is suitable, the species grows thicker year after year AND manages to self-seed spontaneously (without the exuberance of Eryngium Planum, which can become invasive) even though I thought it was sterile. A true success.

If it thrives (in well-drained and porous soil), it can even self-seed and naturalize. Beautiful flowering!

Received young plant with a shy appearance. This is normal in February. I planted it at the base of the QUEEN ELISABETH rose. Looking forward to seeing this duo of colours.

Excellent condition, good root system, planted late autumn in zone 5, flowered this year. Now attempting to propagate the seeds.

Correct.
Young plant received in good condition. Just waiting to grow. (already planted and seems to not be suffering too much, despite its young age, from the strong wind blowing for the past 3 days).
Note the very satisfactory rooting in the bucket.
