Hello, I received my bamboo in excellent condition. I will place another order in the near future. Thank you all.

Marseille" is already in English. However, if you would like a translation of the word "Marseille" into British English, it remains the same.
After 20 years, it reaches 15m (49ft) in height and has a diameter of 4 cm (2in), it is watered by the drainage of the shower! (otherwise it suffers from drought).
An underground wall is necessary to contain it as it tries by all means to cross it.
Provided with super fishing rods as sturdy as steel, and an impenetrable barrier.

Planted in the autumn, my young plants worried me until early May when they only had the old yellowed leaves from last year.
I thought they were dead!! The customer service reassured me and I waited.
And in May, new little leaves were born! Phew!!
So my young plants haven't grown yet, but they have new leaves every day.

Pruning surprising. Worth seeing.
For a future giant bamboo, it's hard to believe that this small young plant will one day reach a height of 10m (33ft), but the specimen appears to be in good health and has many leaves on its multiple branches, some of which are not very green.

young plant with stunted growth, lower hardiness than stated for the species
The young plant was very small (60 cm (24in) tall, no lignified stem). Few roots and a fragment of cutting <10cm (4in). It suffered at least 30% damage despite a winter that was not particularly harsh compared to the hardiness of the species. It does not seem to want to produce any new growth shoots this spring and therefore is at risk of dying when the existing stems wither. All of this is probably due to a hasty cultivation method in a very hot greenhouse to speed up the growth of cuttings. AVOID.

Good recovery, but low growth.
No new water shoots this year, the young plant is probably too busy making roots...
Young plant received with yellow leaves and some completely dry leaves. A bit disappointed at the moment.
Since potting, the bamboo hasn't produced any more yellow leaves.
I sincerely hope it will adapt to its new environment and thrive. To be continued...
