I have just received 3 bamboo shoots, sized 100/125cm (39/49in). The shoots were pruned to fit them into the box. What is the point of ordering large shoots if they are pruned, knowing that the pruned stems do not grow anymore? I would have chosen a smaller shoot instead...

Very resistant and fast-growing and lush bamboo; it withstands windy areas very well, without suffering from harsh winters. It's wonderful that it doesn't lose its leaves, I was advised against bamboo for the pool area because of its deciduous foliage, but I found this one on fleur's promise and thanks to its detailed description, I made the right choice. Thank you very much.

Field of plants arrived in very good condition and very well packaged. Planted in December, the young Fargesia nitida Volcano plants seem to have survived the winter without any issues.

Charenton Le Pont" translates to "Charenton on the Bridge" in British English.
Hello,
I have just received my order: vine-plant fargesia nitida volcano.
On the label attached to the vine-plant, we can read: fargesia 'nitida gansu' / 'nitida 5 volcano'.
So I ask you the following question: which variety is it really: gansu or volcano???
Don't tell me that it doesn't matter because they are the same.

Busy the rest
Unlike the rufa, my three nitida volcano are perfect.

Everywhere it is said that this young plant cannot be planted in a windy location (Belgian and English sources), and only you write that it is an excellent wind protection. Where is the truth?
