Received in 2019, kept in a pot and protected during the first winter to be planted in spring, this bush froze despite using protective covers for two consecutive winters... but it managed to form new branches each time. This year, I didn't protect it and it looks superb...for now.

Marignier
Following my previous message: when I talk about it now, I will give it its poetic name: Flowers of the seven sons of Zhejiang.

Marignier 74970" translates to "Marignier 74970" in British English.
I bought this tree 5 or 6 years ago from Promesses de fleurs, I am delighted with it. I shape it by pruning to give it a tousled look. Its white flowering in bunches starts in mid-July and is delicately scented. It turns pink in September, but I think it's the sepals that stay and become old pink. The leaves are large and fleshy but do not turn red in autumn, they fall very quickly. Only the flower stalks remain, which I will only prune in spring to enjoy their frosted or snowy decoration. Be careful in case of heavy snowfall, it is advisable to clear the snow off it as the wood is brittle. Its exfoliating trunk is magnificent. In short, it has everything to please me all year round and it surprises many people who visit my garden as it is unknown to many. Thank you for choosing your website. Marguerite.

Planted at the end of February, I left it with 4 trunks. It arrived in very good condition, with a height of about 1.5m (5ft).
It's early March, and it's sprouting its lovely leaves.
I'm delighted to have been able to find it. It's a tree that remains beautiful all year round and that "fits everywhere".
At my place, it's planted alongside a Japanese Medlar and a Hong Kong Dogwood. I just need to let them grow a bit before planting some small companion bushes!
Thank you Promesse de Fleur!!!

Saint Laurent Sur Mer" can be translated to "Saint Laurent on Sea" in British English.
Planted in December 2016, these two heptacodiums are magnificent. 2.5m (8ft) in height and 3m (10ft) in spread. I will do the first pruning at the end of winter. The flowering is particularly pleasant with its two phases; the fragrant white flowers and the red flowers that complement the autumn colors. They are in a large field of plants with dogwoods, viburnums, and roses. The borders are made of creeping ceanothuses. During winter, the barks of the heptacodiums and dogwoods are enchanting.

Hello, I have just received my heptacodium very well packaged, the soil still moist, truly perfect. I can't wait to see it in flower!
