cavagnac lot" translates to "Cavagnac lot" in British English.
I have one in my southeast-facing garden, and it has been magnificent for 8 years. It blooms from August until the end of September, and I find that it has a strong but pleasant fragrance. I love my tree, and passersby often stop to ask its name because the flowers always astonish.

Amiens
Planted during winter 2015, the soil and exposure seem to be in accordance with the recommendations. And... big disappointment. It has grown a little (1.5m (5ft)), but not a single flower since planting; and to top it off this year, the leaves started turning yellow since the end of August and covering themselves with brown spots. They will have to be removed, I wonder if there will be anything left other than naked branches: sad autumn!

Normandy
Purchased in spring 2016, it hasn't grown, it seems to be suffering a lot from the lack of water, which is not indicated on the website. This summer, after 2 days without watering, the leaves are drooping miserably.

Awesome bush with a heady, even intoxicating fragrance, some don't appreciate its very strong scent, blooms abundantly and leaves pleasant little berries of blue/green colors that turn into plums. I love it. Seems to thrive in our region.
