The young plant arrived in excellent condition, I'm just a little disappointed with the foliage colour that doesn't match the photo...

Magnificent tree, with extraordinary colours, especially in autumn, but it was growing too much in my garden, producing shoots of nearly 2m (7ft) per year. It became difficult to maintain in my small garden, so I ended up getting rid of it, albeit with regret.
Ordered in a bucket, this Cotinus endured successive frosts alternating with significant winter rains without faltering. The dark foliage is currently developing. Waiting for definitive recovery and rapid growth.

This naked cotinus has just completed its second winter. Last summer allowed me to confirm its extreme resistance to drought, truly delighted.

Cotinus arrived in perfect condition, but I have to wait to talk about it further. I had asked Promesse de fleurs about this bush, and I received very helpful responses to make my choice, so I should be satisfied with it.
I gave it time to start.... and it never started. I left it where I planted it a year ago. I don't think it's dead (I cut a small branch and there seemed to be sap and the young plant is not dry).... but it doesn't move... it's like mummified. Maybe next spring....
I received a feeble-looking plant, seemingly dead, without any leaves, with barely 2 stunted buds burnt by frost. In April, this is not normal. The hope of recovery is almost non-existent. I don't understand why you would sell plants like this. In a garden center or from a reputable nursery, this would not be acceptable as a plant in such a state is unsellable. But for Promesse de Fleurs, it's acceptable...
