BAZAINVILLE
Very pretty ball of colourful leaves that has found its place among taller and bare bushes in winter.

Superbe young plant, arrived in perfect health. The foliage is dense and attractive, quite pleasant at the moment when the deciduous plants begin to show signs of weakness. Delighted with my choice.

Hello, I received this young plant 2 days ago. It is a single vine-plant. Like all the plants ordered on this website, no defects (vigorous plant, no damaged leaf or branch). It arrived identical to one of the photos with small leaves that are starting to turn pink. It is a pleasure. Thanks to Promesse des fleurs.

Chécy (45)" would be translated to "Chécy (45)" in British English as it is a proper noun and does not require translation.
I do not regret my choice. I will describe the plant's development in more detail later. My soil is heavy and clayey; in these cases, it is better to plan a mixture with fine gravel and compost, as this plant likes well-drained soils. As for me, I wish to brighten up my garden in winter. For those who wish to do the same, the Leucothoe 'Burning Love' is an excellent choice as its glossy evergreen leaves change color throughout the year; it seems they even turn purple in winter! (I'm waiting to see). For my part, I have incorporated 2 in my flower bed, in partial shade, along with 2 Leucothoe 'Little Flames', whose new upright shoots do indeed resemble small flames; simply stunning. I have also added 4 Nandina domestica 'Gulf Stream' (with delicate foliage, beautiful orange shades in the heart of winter, and red berries for the birds as a bonus, like the type), 3 Nandina domestica 'Obsessed' (more red) (I plant my nandinas in small groups for a greater effect), and finally, an Ilex crenata 'Golden Gem', a Lonicera nitida 'Lemon Beauty' (very bright all year round, including in winter), and an Orange Glow Pyracantha that will grow freely and splash my garden with a myriad of bright orange berries in autumn and winter!! I also have a Mahonia media 'Charity' in another flower bed, very graphic, with its spectacular yellow flowering in the dead season... as for its leaves, they resemble holly, except that they are much larger. With these wonders, any knowledgeable gardener will create a sublime winter garden!! (with plants that are also superb throughout the rest of the year). Finally, for stunning deciduous foliage in autumn, I have planted various types of Berberis, Cotinus, 1 Tiger Eyes Sumac + 1 Laciniate Sumac, 1 Dwarf Winged Euonymus, 1 Normal-sized Winged Euonymus, 1 Guelder Rose that produces berries (+ 1 Dwarf)...... and that's THE BEST in autumn. For trees, plant 1 Liquidambar styraciflua, 1 Acer freemanii 'Autumn Blaze', and 1 Field Maple: a magnificent spectacle is guaranteed in autumn as well!! And for summer, especially, plant LOTS of Perovskias for their large, fluffy violet flowering that lasts all summer!! (Echinaceas are also great for their long flowering).

Planted in a pot on a terrace in early July 2022, kept in the shade and regularly watered, it quickly developed despite the very hot and dry summer we had. Since then, the foliage has gone through all shades of green and red. Very beautiful effect, the evergreen foliage provides beautiful colors to the terrace during the winter months. I am now looking forward to its first flowering.

GRANS
Ordered in 7/10l. The necks are superb, leafy, colourful and pruned to the same size as shown in the photo. A bit expensive, almost £40 per young plant. But I don't regret the purchase.
