I received this tree in autumn 2018. It has branches up to 15cm (6in) from the soil. Should I remove some lower branches so that it has a weeping shape - should I wait until next year for it to be better established? Advice websites mention removing anything that grows too low quickly, otherwise it will grow even more. Thank you in advance, regards. HM

Under development
A beautiful branch was broken during transport.
I think we should wait a little while before the bush takes on a nice shape.

I received this tree in poor condition, the top of the tree was broken in the package.
The poor conditions of this summer haven't helped matters.

superb
Despite the clumsiness of the delivery person (reported) who broke several branches, this tree is superb. It is already quite large (almost 2 meters (7 feet)) with well-distributed branches everywhere. The foliage is a beautiful grey-white. I can't wait to see it covered in leaves. Original habit and superb colour for a pruning medium-sized tree that fits easily even in a small garden.
